Following the success of the first workshop in which 30 students joined the IMPACT team in Tokyo for a day focused on creating apps for social good, on Sunday February 16th the IMPACT team will be heading to Sendai, and expanding upon this theme to include Design Thinking skills that can be used in many situations both in the workplace and in life in general.
Held in conjunction with IMPACT Foundation Japan’s Tohoku-based partners MAKOTO at the innovative co-working space cocolin, this fun, relaxed event will focus upon idea generation, design thinking, app planning and wire-framing. The workshop will finish with a session focused upon identifying what next steps participants can take to further their careers, whether in IT or any other industry.
We’ll also be giving one lucky participant a Windows 8.1 tablet – sign up now for the chance to win!
Check out the video below to get a sense of what took place in the first session (Japanese only).
